James Hillier Blount (lahir 22 Februari1974) adalah seorang penyanyi sekaligus penulis lagu asal Inggris. Saat ini ia bertempat tinggal di Ibiza, Spanyol.
Album debutnya, Back to Bedlam, dan single hit nomor satu, "You're Beautiful", mengangkat namanya ke pentas musik dunia sejak 2005. Gayanya adalah campuran dari pop, folk dan rock akustik. Di dalam lagunya, James Blunt bervokal solo dan memainkan alat musik seperti piano, guitar, organ, marimba and mellotron untuk mengiringi lagunya. Dia bernaung dibawah label Custard Records milik Linda Perry, dan menjadi penyanyi Inggris pertama dalam satu dekade yang memuncaki chart musik di Amerika melalui singlenya "You're Beautiful" yang mencapai posisi puncak di chart Billboard Hot 100 pada tahun 2006. Terakhir kali artis Inggris yang memuncaki chart Amerika adalah Elton John pada 1997 dengan lagu "Candle in the Wind 1997". Blunt meraih 2 BRIT Awards dan dinominasikan pada lima bidang penghargaan Grammy Awards pada 2006.
James Blunt pernah mengadakan konser di Jakarta pada tanggal 21 Mei 2008.
